What information does Part X apply to?
Part X applies to personal information, which is in the custody or control of a service provider, and which relates to the provision of a service. |
Now that you have determined you are a service provider to whom Part X applies, the next step is to understand what types of information Part X covers.
Generally, Part X applies to personal information, which is in the custody or control of a service provider, and which relates to the provision of a service. However, there are exceptions for certain types of records (such as adoption records) to which Part X does not apply. We will now walk through each of these concepts in :
